“We have renamed her Zoew and we will take care of her forever,” the foster parents said “She has completely changed our lives. We are so happy. The whole family has been supportive of our decision.”
This family is doing their lodging and beach business in Nkhata bay under the name of Mayoka Village and Beach Lodging. They had applied for a baby to foster then adopt some time back through Mzuzu Crisis Nursery. When the child was found, the social welfare office decided to give a baby girl to this family. After they were contacted about the availability of the girl they were so happy, excited and promised to take care of her for the rest of their lives. It is their second time this year to foster a child. They firstly fostered a 3 years old boy Lughano. The boy was abused by her biological parents in different forms. Gary and Kathryn are the ones who have fostered the child.
The child was discovered by young men who were having some meetings close to where the parents abandoned beautiful Chimwemwe. She was taken to District Social Welfare in Mzuzu for support and protection. She was named Chimwemwe which means Joy by the Police officer. The parents are at large.
Happy for Chimwemwe as her hope has been renewed. God is good and always loving. He has a very great purpose to save the life of the girl. Glory be unto God.
